The premise is simple: read research carefully, change your mind in public, and stay useful to other people doing the same.

Current preoccupations

  • Hormone replacement therapy. The long-arc questions about timing, dosing, and what we still don't know.
  • Supplements. The ones that have actually moved a lab number — and the ones that haven't.
  • The unglamorous fundamentals. Sleep, sun, food, lifting, walking. Compounded over decades, these matter more than any pill.
  • Reading widely. Outside the wellness echo chamber, including primary research and the people quietly skeptical of it.
